Hua Hin Thailand

Hua Hin or, in English Head Rock, is situated 250 km from Bangkok on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand.

 

Hua Hin is a fast growing and favorite place for expats and tourists these days. A place where Bangkokians and westerners build second homes either in the quit hills or on the beach or buy condo's with the splendid ocean view that Hua Hin offers. Hua Hin is expanding fast. The last year’s new golf courses, a shopping mall, a movie theatre, shops, businesses, restaurants, hotels, resorts and developments and many more leisure possibilities gave Hua Hin an extra boost. Hua Hin however was able to retain its own special character with its fishing village serenity, the unique Thai hospitality, authentic shops and great local seafood restaurants.

 

Hua Hin is also still small enough to wander for hours without the need of motor transportation. Most hotels are no more than few minutes’ walk to the beach, one of the cozy night markets or delicious seafood restaurants overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. There are many shops selling local handicrafts, silver and silk. Also many tailors for that perfectly made custom suit and dozens of photo opportunities. There are also large shopping malls, outlet stores and large discount stores for those looking for shop after shop in the same building. Shopping addicts will not be bored in Hua Hin!

 

Worried about dining out in Hua Hin? No need at all! Hua Hin offers a range of different restaurants that will make you dazzle. Restaurants with delicious fresh Thai or Chinese seafood, Sushi, vegetarian, steakhouses, small stalls at the cozy night markets, Italian, Korean, Japanese, European restaurants and also fast food restaurants there is a lot to choose here in Hua Hin. Don't forget to try the variety of fruits and Thai sweets (kanoms) during your stay!

 

Don't expect a brightly nightlife in Hua Hin though. But bars enough and even some disco's you can find in Hua Hin. The nightlife in Hua Hin is expanding as well and for sure you will not be bored in Hua Hin.
In daytime you can enjoy the beautiful 5 mile long beach of Hua Hin with all the activities it has to offer like Kite surfing or going on a banana boat, jet ski or a fishing trip. The area around the town let's you discover fabulous parks and peaks, caves and waterfalls.

 

Also Hua Hin provides the highest density of world class golf courses anywhere in Thailand. Green-fees and other costs are currently among the lowest in the world while course maintenance and services are superb.

Hua Hin is a holiday resort for foreigners and Thais.


Many of Bangkok's rich and famous built their own beachfront summer homes to the north and south along the curving sandy bay, enjoying leisurely family weekends in a resort which has maintained its unique identity.

 

Hua Hin's climate makes it a great place to stay, even in the rainy season.
Hua Hin has temperatures around 26 degrees from November till February up to 35 degrees and more during the rest of the year.
